Samsung is making its most advanced TV technology far more practical. After launching a massive 115-inch Micro RGB TV earlier this year, the company has now confirmed that Micro RGB technology will arrive in sizes people can actually fit in their living rooms.
The new Samsung Micro RGB TV lineup will start at 55 inches. It will also include 65, 75, 85, 98, and 100-inch options. These models will join the existing 115-inch MR95F, expanding the range in a big way.
For buyers who want cutting-edge display tech without redesigning their home, this is a major shift.
What makes Samsung Micro RGB TV different
Unlike conventional LED TVs, Samsung Micro RGB TV uses red, green, and blue LEDs directly in the backlight. Most LED TVs rely on white or blue LEDs combined with filters. This change improves color purity and color brightness.
Samsung says each RGB LED measures under 100 micrometers. That is thinner than a human hair. Because the LEDs are so small, Samsung can control light more precisely across the screen.
As a result, colors appear more accurate. Bright scenes also retain detail without washing out darker areas.
Micro vs mini LED: why the name matters less
There is no official industry rule that defines “micro” versus “mini” RGB LED technology. Samsung explains that its Micro RGB TV uses extremely small RGB LEDs grouped into clusters.
This approach sets it apart from RGB mini-LED TVs already announced by other brands. LG recently revealed RGB LED TVs starting at 75 inches. Hisense and TCL also focus on much larger panels.
Samsung now leads by offering the smallest Micro RGB TV size seen so far.
Sizes that finally make sense
Samsung’s move to 55-inch and 65-inch Micro RGB TVs changes the conversation. These sizes suit apartments and standard living rooms. They also open the door for wider adoption of RGB LED technology.
The company has not shared pricing yet. Availability details are also pending.
