Realme 16 Pro Plus Price Leak Surfaces Ahead of Launch

Realme is preparing to kick off 2026 with the launch of its latest number series smartphones in India. The Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro Plus will officially debut on January 6. While the brand has already confirmed several features, a new leak has now drawn attention to the expected price of the Pro Plus model.

A leaked retail box image, shared by tipster Paras Guglani, suggests that the Realme 16 Pro Plus could carry a maximum retail price of Rs 43,999. This figure refers to the box price and not the final selling price. However, it still offers a clear indication of where the device may land in Realme’s portfolio.

Why the Leaked Price Matters This Time

Realme’s number series has traditionally stayed below the Rs 40,000 mark in India. In comparison, the Realme 14 Pro Plus launched at Rs 29,999. The absence of a Realme 15 Pro Plus makes the jump even more noticeable. If the leaked price holds close to reality, the Realme 16 Pro Plus would mark a sharp shift for the series.

That said, Realme is expected to announce launch offers, bank discounts, and limited-period deals. These could lower the effective price at launch. Still, the base positioning appears significantly higher than before.

Realme 16 Pro Plus Specifications Confirmed So Far

Realme has already confirmed several key features of the Realme 16 Pro Plus. The phone will feature a 200MP primary camera. It will also include an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope camera. Early details point to around 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

The smartphone will run on a Snapdragon chipset. Geekbench listings suggest a customised Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. This is paired with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Realme has also committed to three years of Android updates and four years of security patches. AI features like AI Edit Genie 2.0 will enhance camera and editing tools.

New Design and Colour Options Revealed

Alongside hardware changes, Realme is also refreshing the design. The Realme 16 Pro Plus moves away from the circular camera module. Instead, it adopts a new layout that looks more linear and modern. The phone will be available in Master Gold, Camellia Pink, and Master Grey colour options.
