Aura Ink: The Cordless Digital Frame That Redefines Wall Décor

Aura Ink: A Cordless Digital Frame With Paper-like Display

Your walls hold memories — family moments, travels, and celebrations. But traditional frames rarely change, and corded digital frames limit placement. Aura’s new Ink frame solves this problem.

Cordless Design Meets E-Paper Technology

Aura Ink is a 13.3-inch, color e-paper frame with a slim 0.6-inch profile. Its cordless design allows you to place it anywhere. The rechargeable battery lasts up to three months with daily photo updates.

This frame feels like a print yet functions like a digital frame. Unlimited photo storage and sharing through the Aura app keep your memories flowing. Family and friends can contribute their photos directly to the frame.

How Ink Brings Photos to Life

Aura uses E Ink Spectra™ 6 technology with a custom dithering algorithm. This blends six colors—white, black, red, yellow, green, and blue — to create full-color images. The display highlights sunsets, portraits, and personal moments with warmth and clarity.

The frame includes a subtle front light. It’s only one-eighth as bright as an LCD backlight, adjusts automatically to room light, and saves energy when no one is nearby. Users can also schedule light timing for full control.

Calm Technology for a Relaxed Experience

Ink’s photo refresh takes around 30 seconds, creating a deliberate pace. By default, it updates overnight, showing a new photo daily. This approach reduces digital noise and encourages viewers to linger on each moment.

Aura Ink is Calm Tech Certified, like Aura’s Carver and Aspen frames. This ensures the frame blends into home spaces without causing distractions.

Elegant Design for Every Space

Ink combines a graphite-inspired bezel, paper-textured mat, and glossy finish. Its timeless style fits naturally on walls or tabletops. The frame merges technology with décor, making your memories a focal point without overpowering the room.

Easy Sharing Through the Aura App

The Aura app powers Ink. Users can upload photos from phones, emails, or cloud accounts. Friends and family can add pictures without subscription fees. This seamless sharing keeps walls fresh and connected.

Aura CEO Abdur Chowdhury explains, “Ink is a step forward in our vision as a truly wireless frame for more photos at home.”

Aura Ink is available now at $499 on auraframes.com.
